Continuous Acoustic Monitoring

Always-on monitoring of critical rotating equipment using acoustic and physical signals. Early warnings of bearing, lubrication and rotor faults — before they cause unplanned outages.

When Continuous Acoustic Monitoring is the right tool

Periodic inspections work for some assets — but not for the equipment whose failure would stop your operation. Continuous monitoring is the right answer in situations like these:

Critical equipment — failure is catastrophic

Compressors, large motors, gearboxes, pumps where downtime stops the entire production line. The cost of one unplanned outage exceeds years of monitoring.

Faults develop faster than your inspection cycle

Some failure modes (bearing wear, lubrication breakdown) accelerate within weeks. Quarterly route-based measurements simply miss them.

Limited maintenance staff

Autonomous monitoring relieves manual rounds and points your team to the equipment that actually needs attention.

No existing sensor infrastructure

Non-intrusive IoT edge devices install without major retrofit, downtime or capital project.

Multi-site operations

Centralized dashboard for assets across geographically dispersed plants — one view for the maintenance manager.

Compliance + audit trail

Historical record of asset condition for regulatory bodies, insurance audits or warranty disputes.

How it works

1

Sensor deployment

We install non-intrusive industrial IoT edge devices on the equipment you want to monitor. Acoustic sensors plus complementary physical signals (vibration, temperature, current draw) feed continuous data streams — without any disruption to your operations.

2

Data acquisition & edge processing

Recorded sound and physical signals are processed locally on the edge device. Relevant features are extracted and securely uploaded to the analysis platform over LAN, SFTP or MQTT — fitting your existing IT infrastructure.

3

Frequency analysis & anomaly detection

The platform performs frequency-spectrum analysis based on vibrodiagnostic methodology. Machine-learning algorithms compare the current state to the asset's baseline and flag deviations — long before the asset reaches a failure threshold.

4

Dashboard & alerts

A unified dashboard shows the live state of every monitored machine across all your sites — In operation / In maintenance / Alert / Failure. Email or SMS notifications reach the right people when intervention is required.

Where we apply it

We monitor a wide range of industrial rotating and mechanical assets:

Rotating equipment

Air compressors, electric motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes.

Mechanical drives

Conveyor systems, mixers, agitators, transport systems.

Critical utilities

Chillers, HVAC compressors, cooling pumps, process refrigeration.

Production bottlenecks

Machines whose downtime halts the entire line.

Cross-site fleets

Distributed assets across multiple plants — single dashboard.

High-value or hard-to-access machinery

Equipment where manual inspection is dangerous, expensive or impossible during operation.

What you receive

A complete monitoring service you can plug into your operation:

Real-time asset state on a unified dashboard

Every machine you monitor, on a single screen.

Automated anomaly alerts

Email or SMS notifications when machine behavior deviates from baseline.

Frequency-domain fault analysis

Identification of bearing wear, lubrication issues, rotor imbalance, gear faults, and more.

Historical condition record

Searchable archive of every machine's operational state over time — useful for warranty, audit and trend analysis.

Prioritization of inspection effort

Your maintenance team focuses on the equipment that actually needs attention.

Integration with your systems

Alerts and data flow into your existing CMMS / EAM / SCADA via standard protocols (SFTP, MQTT).

From our practice

We have implemented continuous acoustic monitoring across rotating-equipment assets in industrial environments, integrating with existing CMMS and SCADA systems.

Typical targets include air compressors, large electric motors and process pumps in continuous-production plants — assets where unplanned downtime carries the highest cost.
